Basler distortion output

Dear Basler users,

I am able to make my Basler camera work on Bonsai but the output is weird as you can see on the screen shot attached to this post.

Someone would have any suggestion?

Hi Dorian,

Were you able to fix this issue? Does the image look correct in the Basler software? If yes, then let us know the camera model and ideally some of the settings configured in the Basler API. It might be an issue with image formats and image alignment. Are you cropping the image in hardware?

Hi Gonçalo, 

Thank you for the feedback.

I still did not fix the issue. The Basler camera is a "ace 1300 30gm". 

On Pylon (5.1), the video is ok, not truncated. 

It's only when I record on Bonsai that the distortion happens. 

I'm using mp4 format, with 10 fps. 

What other features would you like to know?

If you can check on the Pylon software what the image pixel format is, that would be very useful:

I just checked. It was on 8 mono. I tried all the other pixel formats, but the distortion is still there.

1280x1024.

I specified these values manually on the VideoWriter node and it solved the issue!
