Hi,

I'm attempting a setup using the win auth method and want to have the repository path set to a virtual directory created in the IIS site. However the settings in the web interface do not seem to allow for anything other than a full physical path. And the bonobo application seems to ignore the web.config "DefaultRepositoriesDirectory" setting.

Can anyone shed some light on if this is possible, and how I would set this up?

Thanks,

At the moment, you can't set up virtual directory as a git repository directory from web interface. You could edit config.xml file manualy in your app_data folder and set it up to the virtual directory value and it might work.

I've setup mine to use virtual directories quite well.  First I followed all the instructions to get everything up and working correctly with the urls that they supplied since you don't have to do any customizations.  After I finished that I made two virtual directories (repo and web).  I have win authentication so I needed to have both.  I have those directories pointing to the same as my Bonobo.Git.Server and Bonobo.Git.Server.Interface so <myurl>/web will bring me to <myurl>/Bonobo.Git.Server.Interface and <myurl>/repo will bring me to <myurl>/Bonobo.Git.Server.  I did have to do all the authentication steps again but so far it works great.  I also found that the url on the web interface is the full url however since I'm copying and pasting those I don't really care too much.  I just don't want to have to type a long url all the time.
