The server i want to host bonobo on is currently using the default port 80. So I decided to create a new site using port 8081. I went through the process to configure both the Bonobo apps to use windows authentication.

When I go to access the server http://localhost:8081/Bonobo.Git.Server.Interface I receive the following error.

Server Error in '/Bonobo.Git.Server.Interface' Application.

Configuration Error

How can I fix this to access bonobo?

Thanks

Did you convert the website to an application? (as there is written in installation guide)

What I did in IIS was created a new website, then I change the application pool to .NET v4.0, the port to 8081, and change the physical path to the folder where the Bonobo Servers would be extracted to.

Once I extracted the servers to the folder. Once they were extracted I followed the instructions on the site. So Bonobo.Git.Server and Bonobo.Git.Server.Interface where both converted to applications.

I figured out the Issue, I did not have the IIS_IUSRS group added to the 8081 folder. After I add them I was able to access the web interface.
