hi All, I help run the Boulder Creek iteration of a propane co-op and we recently found out that Ferrelgas has changed their process of price determination from the first Friday of the month to the first of the month. Eddie Ramos explained to me that this was because there are so many customer now that it became difficult to manage this in their computer system and was causing billing errors. of course this became a bit of an issue for some of the members of the BC co-op as the price of propane continues to fall in a time where it typically is rising.
Please do help continue to spread the word about your co-op. Amerigas continues to price gouge (charging $4.50 or more a gallon as of last week) and has only been providing discounts to about $2 a gallon when people complain. the price your co-op should be getting right now is $1.64 a gallon if I recall correctly.
