I just filled up for $1.945 per gallon. Targa SF is $.85 so Monday's adder was $1.095.

So far, so good. My husband spoke to Cindy at Ferrell’s and said she was super helpful. Thanks for all your help and patience on this and more, Steve.

What are the current terms? I know that SFO TARGA + 85 cents was killed,
but I've never heard what they are now supposed to be.

It changes daily, based on a formula that includes their cost of propane as delivered to their yard in Castroville.

I do not have the exact contract terms, but I believe that they have been posted online on a FaceBook site in the past.

Russ Mackey, do you have the formula? Joe Ysselstein, do you?

I have had fills under the old and new contracts. It is up a nominal amount more than the old rate, in my my experience.

They've been charging me about $1.70 over TARGA since last fall. I
called and they said, "We don't do TARGA pricing anymore." Whatever
their baseline is, for me it is way over TARGA plus 85 cents.

It is not WAY over. I filled up in September for less than $2. per gallon. They are still about half to 5/8 of what Amerigas and Suburban try to charge. We are still getting a bargain.
I just cannot, right now, quote the formula…We did have Targa + 85 cents for 5 years, and we saved a ton of money. They wanted a different formula, more profitable for them,
after the old contract expired.

Looks like they bounced me out tho. I was charged $2.33 in June and
$2.85 last December.
It was that $2.85 that clued me there was something amiss. TARGA was
about 1.05 or so.
They've pulled the TARGA postings from
https://www.documents.dgs.ca.gov/pd/contracts/FuelPosting
You now get an Error 404 (not found).

Anyway, thank you for the info. I'll call Ferrell again.

All you have to do is remind the office that you are in the co-op and ask for an adjustment. Perhaps they were treating you as a non co-op customer. Try to talk to Monica….She is smart…and nice….and helpful…

There is a new url for propane pricing at the state. https://www.dgs.ca.gov/PD/Resources/Page-Content/Procurement-Division-Resources-List-Folder/Liquefied-Petroleum-Gas-Fuel-Postings <https://www.dgs.ca.gov/PD/Resources/Page-Content/Procurement-Division-Resources-List-Folder/Liquefied-Petroleum-Gas-Fuel-Postings>

to Bonny Doon Propane Co-Op
Hi, everyone. I have a question, reading the most recent posts and looking back at my fills and charges I found that i had not been charged under the co-op. My wife and i joined the co-op back in the early-ish stages when you all had set it up and we live in the Swanton area (down below and around the corner) and we had signed up under my now wifes name Gina Orlando, now I was given the name of a person at Ferrell gas who I was told was in charge of the co-op's "Brian Heath" and he said we were not part of the co-op and Ferrell chooses the area that the co-op can be in if you are out of that then that was why I have been charged higher prices. I was hoping for a bit of clarification on if there had been a mistake in allowing us to join the group or if there is something i can do to remedy this. Any help would be appreciated.

That seems reasonable and in line with what Ferrell wanted from the new contract, adopted a year ago.

Other providers charge 1.5 to2.5 times more.
