Synergy and iPad

Maybe this is too far off topic, but might be a worthwhile project for
someone else, to make a simple app, for both the ipad and iphone,
which uses the synergy protocol to turn the iOS device into a large
touch surface for the computer system?

Bonjour could detect all instances of bonjour-synergy running on the
local network, pick a client and connect presenting the touch and
possibly a popup keyboard for easy data entry?

This last video is the reverse of what I'm thinking, but it is great
