An Apology from boNGO Worldwide Google Group

I sincerely apologize to the members of this group for the occasional
spam messages sent out, trust me they are not from boNGO and they are
not appreciated. Even though I report the messages every time, more
still eventually appear.

This problem will be sorted out once our website is fully functional,
at which time we will be able to host a proper mailing list and
newsletter, as well as online discussion forums and much much more--
we are aiming for January, 2009, to have a website up to our
satisfaction!

In the meantime so much has been happening on our end here in Malawi:
we hosted our first Annual General Meeting last Saturday, the 22nd of
November, and received a wonderful reception from our stakeholders,
friends, and trustees; we are conducting the final Holistic Early
Childhood Development Manual Training of the term this week with 51
teachers from 17 preschools; and we are hopefully coming to some
conclusion with the land ownership issue at the Umodzi-Mbame CBO as we
have been in discussions with the District Commissioner of Blantyre...
whatever happens in this case we are confident that justice will
ultimately prevail and that the development will continue no matter
what. The land and the buildings are not the development, it is the
programs and the community which make the positive cultural changes
and these two are still continuing to expand and improve!
