Quick update 6
ECD (Early Childhood Development)
Monitoring Evaluation to Umodzi and Mango where in both centers, there
is good working relationship and a sense & spirit of team work is
there.
Good implementation of the activities and proper feeding program is
been done.
Nanzikambe Theater officers came to observe our system of teaching &
were as well impressed. Seems everybody who comes to observe comment
very positively. I hope all these visitors have been saying the truth,
otherwise next visitors shall be asked only to tell the negative
things observed and learn from there. If they do not, no problem.
Here is the list of boNGO ECD participating CBCC’s, Teacher names &

or rather a natural growth of the program this year. And the total of
109 teachers or caregivers participating in this program.Note that,
there will be an increase in number of children in schools as we go in
the second quotar of the year. About 42 teachers have been trained
2yrs ago by boNGO in collaboration with other stake holders, like,
APPM, SWO & other government departments.
Children’s Corner:
1. The drawings and the writings materials have been sent. Simone
check your home mail box couple of weeks to come.
2. Hope the materials will enable their friends learn one or two
things out of them.
3. The children here also were happy when I showed them the last
compilation of the items/pictures/ drawings/ writings. It was great.
4. School activities are still own, need to find some more
interesting items for the club. Got some books from Ruth and more are
to come from her soon/ pre-school and children’s corner books. Very
big thanks to Ruth.
5. Introducing the usage of the cameras from David friend from
USA, which will be used to get the life style of the children through,
photos, when at home with the parents, playing at the club and at
school, activities they do in the morning, noon &evening etc and share
this information with other fellow youths in USA.. These cameras are
used only once. Therefore we have 2 cameras for 2children from the
children’s corner and the rest 4 will go to MGD’s Club. At both, the
teachers and the patrons will help to do the best job out of these
cameras. They are 6 cameras in total
