If item listing gets bids, at end time you would remove from active listing and place in 'Sold' category. Notify high bidder to complete checkout.
Items not receiving bids would need to have listing ended or modified to suit seller's preference (relist as auction again, reword and relist as BIN or whatever.)
I have made revisions to the process, and will have ten items up for auction, probably after the holidays. Too much going on right now with everyone and the holidays.
