BQC Session by Ashwini Kulkarni and Pranav Bontadkar (1.30 pm, Sunday 28 January, Rajyog)

Almost a decade ago, Maitreyi and I became the first couple to host a session together at the Bombay Quiz Club. Vansa and Govind were the second, when they co-hosted the Eunice De Souza Memorial Literature Quiz in 2019.

This weekend, we have BQC's third session by a couple, making their debut as quizmaster together. Ashwini Kulkarni and Pranav Bontadkar love the sport passionately, and their travel from Navi Mumbai to attend every BQC session pretty much sums up why we exist. There's no doubt that the quiz (guinea-pigged, we are told, by a certain author and quizzer who follows fish around divided islands) will live up to its billing.
