Organised by the BMS students of Mulund College Of Commerce, ARMAGEDDON - A Business Quiz has managed to carve a niche for itself in the Indian Business Quizzing sphere. Known for its quality research and dazzling graphics, the SIXTH edition of the event attracted top-notch quizzing brains from across the country.

Student teams from IIT-Bombay, SCMHRD (Pune), TISS, JBIMS, Welingkar, etc. battled it out with seasoned quizzers from organisations such as Bhilai Steel Plant, Asian Paints, UTI Bank, ABN-Amro, StanChart, Lucent Technologies and Lehman Brothers among others.

The written prelims consisting of 30 qns proved to be a tough hurdle to cross, what with signs of frustration writ large on the faces of even the most battle-hardened quizzers.

An honourable mention on a few teams that barely missed out on qualifying for the finals:
1. Abhishek R. and Namit Bhatia - i-Flex / HDFC Bank (12 points)
2. Shameer and Sandeep - KJ Somaiya Inst of Mgmt Studies (12 1/2 points)
3. Ajay Ravindran and Ameya Sawant - Madison (13 points)
4. Chandan Mohanty and Sagar Shankar - Infosys-Pune (13 points)

The teams that made it through to the grand finale included some of the most renowned quizzers:
1. Amit Pandeya (Questa Software, Bombay) and Rohan Khanna (Accenture, Delhi) topped the prelims with a whopping score of 21 points.
2. Rajiv Rai (Deutsche Bank, Bombay) and Ravi Venkatesh (E-Bay)
3. Ajay Kasargod (WYSE Technology, Bangalore) and Mitesh Agarwal (Sun Microsystems, Bangalore)
4. Gautam Ghosh (ISB&M, Calcutta) and Sanjeev Mittal (Ignify)
5. Prasad Shetty (Kotak Life Insurance, Bangalore) and Alagarsamy (ICICI Bank, Bangalore)
6. Bringing up the rear, were M. Suresh Kumar and Aniruddha Dutta from TCS, Bombay with a score of 13 1/2 points)
