The Mimir format of quizzing, which changed the game forever and continues to draw more people to quizzing than the in-person format of the game ever has, was introduced to India by the FundaesLiga Quiz League. Having completed 7 seasons, FLQL is now expanding beyond the online world, and is all set to host the
FundaesLiga's "Summer Showdown" next month in our city.
As a curtain raiser to the 11-12 May event (which, like MQF, will be held at Nehru Centre), FLQL co-founder
Sreshth Shah will host a quiz this Sunday at Rajyog, bringing us the very best of the FLQL gharana in a live environment. There will be questions of the kind you're expected to encounter at the Summer Showdown, and the session will ensure that the one summer weekend you remain in (or for that matter, travel to) Mumbai is the second weekend of May.
1.30 pm, Sunday 21 April. Rajyog Family Restaurant and Bar. No prior registration required, and teams to be formed on the spot.
