Reminder: January BC Open quizzes this Sunday in Pune

Hi,

a reminder that the BCQC, with support from Landmark, Pune, will be organising two competitive quizzes this Sunday (7th January).
The gist:
* Venue: Auditorium, Persistent Systems Pvt. Ltd, Pune
* The college quiz by Apurva and Akhil: teams of 3, mixed teams allowed, 8 teams final, reporting: 8:45 am
* The open quiz by Gaurav Sabnis: teams of 2 for elims, 6 teams final, reporting: 1:30 pm
* No registration fees
* Prizes courtesy Landmark, Pune

btw.. Does anyone have any definitive info on when Landmark Mumbai is?
shd be at the end of the month from what I hear..in which case we need to up the ante in Bqc!(how abt a double header next weekend ?)

According to what Hemu Ramaiah told me at Landmark Chennai, there are no immediate plans to hold a Landmark Quiz in Mumbai at this time.  They were shooting for holding it in Pune on Jan 26, but I don't believe that it is happening in 2007.  Let's see what gives.
