Oktoberfest MELA Quiz Re-run - Rajyog, 1.30 pm, Sunday 12 October

At BQC, other than Diwali and year-end breaks, the only weekends we avoid for sessions are the ones where prominent Quiz Clubs in different cities across the country have their flagship events, so people can travel for them.

While Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune are already on this list, the one big omission thus far was Delhi. But now that Oktoberfest has become a prominent fixture on the quizzing calendar, it is time we give DQC a nod too, and (instead of a gap week, which would mean no session in October at all!) re-run one of the Oktoberfest quizzes at BQC.

So, thanks to the benevolence of our freshly minted Hall of Famer Sumant Srivathsan (who is one of the question writers along with Arijit Mondal, Debasmita Bhowmik and Piyush Kedia), we will re-run the Music, Entertainment, Literature and Arts (MELA) Quiz from Oktoberfest - scheduled in Delhi for Saturday - at BQC this Sunday. I will be your host and will insist that you put your chairs back after the quiz.

1.30 pm, Sunday 12 October. Rajyog Family Restaurant and Bar. No registration fees, and teams to be formed on the spot.
