Howto Localize Boltwire under Ubuntu 18.04 (or recommend version)

Its been quite a few years since I tried to install Boltwire, and ran into problems. Just did so successfully on Ubuntu 18.04, no glitches whatsoever. However, before I install on my public server (mmax.com), I'd like to create some trial content inside my private network. Not interested in anything other than Linux servers. I'm using Ubuntu 18-20ish, but not averse to trying some other distros. PS: to Dan. Great to see you're still pursuing this brilliant construct (content driven auto-website generation -- at least that's what got me interested in your work so many years ago.)
