Well, I didn't need to wait long in 2025 for a clear night and a "new" comet!
This comet was discovered in March 2022 by the ATLAS project.
At the moment it's very high in the sky (Cassiopeia), but only around 13th magnitude.
This is a stack of 90x 1-min exposures with my Mx716 camera on the C8 operating at f/3.5.
I calibrated and aligned the images in IRIS, then separately stacked the comet and background stars sequences in SiriL and finally overlaid the planes in GIMP.
