Hi everyone!
I'm always a fan of celebrations - whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or even another culture's holiday. Hence, I'll be combining the celebrations of Dia De Los Muertos (The Day of the Dead celebrated by Hispanic culture) & Shah Rukh Khan's birthday (November 2nd) to theme this week's Bollywood updates.

"Is SRK Amitabh's Runner-Up?"
Thoughts? I've considered this for a while now.
Shah Rukh Khan & Karan Johar
They are teaming up to produce a new movie called Ittefaq, starring Siddharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha, and (drum-roll please)...the long lost Akshay Khanna! Spoiler alert: it looks as good as Akshay Khanna (which, I'm sorry if you disagree, is not good at all). For your birthday, SRK, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because I actually do like the title song from the movie! Have a listen, let me know what you think.
Mood: Close your eyes, think of the 80's chill jams, and nod your head along
Celebration of the DeadFor those of you that don't know, Dia De Los Muertos ("The Day of the Dead") is a Mexican Holiday celebrating those who have passed on. They make all their loved ones' favorite foods, as they believe that on that day (November 2nd), the spirits of their loved ones come to visit their family and friends. One such Bollywood movie, which did not necessarily celebrate the dead loved one, revolved around the belief that an spirit can roam around our world and connect with the living. In memory of this movie, which I enjoyed watching and would recommend watching at least once, here is a throwback song that never fails to hit home with the major feels.
Mood: Let it out, all the angst, let it go
