Hi everyone!

This week's theme will focus on covers and remakes by fan-bases or other industry-famed folk. Talent is easily recognized when you're in films and sing songs, of course. But a lot of the talent lives outside the realms of known Bollywood. So many people around us are talented, and have similar passions as those who have made it to the famous industry lifestyle - and it's time to recognize that fully. I know this week's is rather short, but the music speaks for itself. Not many words needed from my end, enjoy the jams ahead!

"Many Sources of Ingredients in the World"
Yet only certain brands of ingredients get recognized...Sometimes it's not about quality - it's just about resources

T-Series Mix-tape
I've mentioned these series before, but it definitely needs more of a spotlight. It's one of the best sources of song remixes and covers - to the point where Saavn even keeps their tracks available. Yes, they are industry-famed and have the resources to make it big, but their talent is sometimes under-appreciated when compared to the big dogs who sang the original versions. Sometimes the originals can be beat, for the better!

I haven't taken a deeper dive into the series myself, yet - and I am guilty like most for not knowing many of these artists' names. However, it will definitely be a new focus of mine for the future, 'cause baby it's cold outside and all I want to do is curl up with some hot chocolate and listen to these soothing voices. One thing to note though, that I recently discovered, is that actors themselves have come on and sang covers! Actors that may not always get a chance to tap into their hidden passions as much since acting takes up so much of their career time. This is why I'm falling in love with these series, it's looks like a comfort zone for people to open up and share their talent, and it's a comfort zone for people who need a soothing voice at the end of a stressful day.

One such actor is Ayushmann Khurrana - his track is definitely one of my favorites. Just like every other cover I've listened to from the series, he seamlessly takes two already amazing songs from Bollywood, and ties them together with the help of a very talented music group as well. Have a listen to it and some other favorites of mine:
Mood: Soothing, Relaxing, Filled with warm 'sighs'

Dance Is My Passion-Point
If you don't already know me, I love dancing - and therefore Bollywood song dance covers can often hit home for me as well. It often enhances the feels of a song (as if the artist's voice and musicians in the background hadn't already). Some of my favorite covers have been choreographed by Naina & Manpreet - who used to be a dynamic duo.DRAMA ALERT: Seems like ever since Naina got married, they've been on separate tracks. Unknown what has happened between them, and I could care less - however, the good news is that they both didn't let it stop them from continuing to choreograph and dance, and share that talent with the world. While many may think one or both or overrated, they will continue to be my inspiration!

Check out my favorite cover from when they did everything together, and my favorites of their individual pieces. Hope to see more from them, and maybe a reunion in the future!
Mood: when you know you're good at something, show that confidence!

This Week's Favorite 7
That's right, Arijit can be just as badmaash as Ranbae <3

Play this at the next Sangeet you attend!

Same movie as the Arijit song above!

Movie is not worth the watch, BTW.

Saif, never do the mustache ever again.

I wonder if people love it more because it's a great song, or because Jacqueline is half naked.

Imraan Khan can't dance - he definitely takes after his uncle (Aamir Khan) in that sense!
Here is this week's playlist on YouTube recapping all the songs from above!
