Hi everyone!
While we all come off of our Diwali high, and shift over to a sugar high (yay, Halloween!), some good Bollywood music can do us all some good. While there isn't a theme to this week's updates, I want to share my excitement with you about some new songs released to promote a couple upcoming movies I've mentioned!

"Promoting vs. Gossiping!"
Often can't distinguish the two when I'm watch Koffee with Karan...
Padmavati, Padukone, Perfection
This will probably be my third time talking about Padmavati, and if you haven't been keeping up - It's a new Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie coming out December 1st starring Ranveer (bae) Singh, Shaahid Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone. It revolves around the story of Padmavati, and yes the trailer shows that the setting looks a lot like Bajirao's setting. Trust me, the story is nothing alike and the roles Deepika and Ranveer are playing are so different. Hence, there is still lot of reason for excitement!
As I mentioned before, Bollywood markets and promotes their movies nowadays by dropping a song one by one, letting us get a taste of what's to come. And just as the excitement wears down, they drop another song - and it keeps going until the movie is released. For me, it works. The obsession with each drop is very real. Here's the first drop for Padmavati!
Mood: I want to dance freely, without reservation - BLAST IT, FULL VOLUME
Sulu, Balan, AlliterationFailIt hasn't been long since I talked about Vidya Ba(e)lan. Whenever I watch her movies, I'm always been impressed at how she carries herself and her roles. I'm sure it's not surprising to you that there's a throwback remake that just dropped from her upcoming movie: Tumhari Sulu. The original song is from Mr. India - 90's babies definitely know what movie I'm talking about (or maybe it's just me being fobby).
Tumhari Sulu is coming out is ALSO coming out December 1st - the battle of which movie to see is now commencing in my head. I may easily be convinced to see both in one day. Have a listen to the new song drop!

Sent the remake version of this song to you, this is the OG.
Haven't seen these two in a while!
People have mixed feelings about this song - maybe listen without watching the video at first?
Perfect chill work/study album.
One of my favorite item songs!
Every time I listen, I want a plate of nachos...
Fun fact: I actually didn't like this song when it first came out
