Hi everyone!

Welcome to the third edition. This week's music focus will be based on new movies coming out that has barely been publicized! Marketing in the Bollywood industry has changed immensely over the years. Songs being released before the movie wasn't always the trend - but even then, social media marketing complementing these song posts have been an influential part of promotional success. Without YouTube and Instagram, I'm starting to wonder how we all even heard of movies being released ahead of time, let alone getting excited for their release!

Sanjay Dutt

Did you know that Sanjay Dutt was taken out of jail to shoot his scenes for the movie PK? And after the scenes were done filming, casually taken back to jail? This man, convicted of acquiring illegal guns from men who were responsible for multiple bombings in Mumbai, still got special treatment...interesting. Well, he's officially been released as of 2016, and now has a new movie released just last week: Bhoomi. While the movie is not one you should rush to watch, the songs are on the contrary!

Saif Ali Khan

You may or may not know - but Saif Ali Khan recently became a father - which is probably why he's barely had any movies in the past couple years (with the exception of Rangoon). As a relatively private person, what Saif Ali Khan is like as a father is a mystery. Is he a dad who likes to spoil his son? Is he tough love type of dad? Is there a level in between for him? Maybe we'll get an idea of what he's like based on his upcoming, under-publicized movie: Chef. The plot revolves around a father-son relationship - interesting to see how Saif Ali Khan will use his real life experiences to help him relate to his character! Side note: it's a Bollywood remake of the Hollywood movie Chef.

Aamir Khan has a new movie coming out called: Secret Superstar. Remember how phenomenal Dangal was, and how great Aamir's dynamic was with his co-stars? Well, one of those girls - Zaira Wasim (or, childhood Geeta from Dangal) is coming back in this movie as the lead actress.
