Get a Sneak Peek at the MOOP Map — March 14 — Camp Symposium Where: Online The Black Rock City 2025 MOOP Map will be revealed first at this Saturday's Camp Symposium before it’s released to the wider community. The MOOP Map tells the story of how Black Rock City cleaned up after itself — the good, the bad, and the dusty (but mostly the good!). It reflects the leave no trace efforts of BRC’s citizens, and what the Playa Restoration team discovered and removed during their post-event sweep. Come see:

Want to Ranger in BRC? Black Rock Ranger Applications are Open Now The Black Rock Rangers are putting out a call for applicants! Black Rock Rangers are Burners who choose to participate in Black Rock City as non-confrontational mediators, information resources, and problem-solvers for the community. If you’re interested, the Black Rock Rangers are accepting applications now through May 10, 2026 (or when they hit the maximum number of applications, whichever happens first). To apply, fill out the Volunteer Questionnaire in your Burner Profile. You must be over 18 and have participated in Burning Man once during the last 10 events. 2026 Camp Symposium — March 14 — Online Where: Online Are you a theme camp organizer, placed camp participant, open camper, or simply a curious human wanting to learn about being part of a Black Rock City camp? Interested to know how you can start your own? Mark your calendars and register for the 2026 Camp Symposium. Held every spring, the event helps kick off camp planning for the year and provides camp organizers and participants with useful information and new connections. Participate in inspiring breakouts, in-depth spotlight sessions, and a plenary that promises to spark excitement for Black Rock City 2026.
BWB Worldwide Call — March 16 — Online Where: Online Across the network, Burners are responding to unhousing not as a problem to fix, but as a call to relationship, creativity, and long-term resilience. On this Worldwide Call, you'll hear from five projects: gear redistribution in Reno, art therapy in Placer County, street outreach in San Diego and Detroit, and an innovative companionship model in San Antonio — each offering an approach to working with our unhoused neighbors.
