Les invitamos cordialmente a la 4ta Conferencia Virtual de Naciones Unidas sobre Ciencia Abierta e Investigación Abierta, del 16 al 18 de Octubre del 2025. La Conferencia se realizara en inglés, con traducción simultánea al japonés y al español
La Conferencia está organizada por la Biblioteca Dag Hammarskjöld del Departamento de Comunicaciones Globales de las Naciones Unidas, en colaboración con el Departamento de Asuntos Económicos y Sociales, División de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, y la División de Políticas Científicas y Fomento de la Capacidad de la UNESCO, bajo el tema "El Derecho a Participar y Beneficiarse de la Ciencia".
La Conferencia este ano incluye paneles y presentaciones enfocadas en tres áreas:
- Inteligencia artificial, ciencia abierta, y la brecha digital mundial
- La comunicación para las ciencias y participación del público
- Eliminando las barreras al conocimiento: infraestructura abierta y el futuro del acceso a la ciencia
Acompáñenos para apoyar la llamada urgente a acelerar las transformaciones en la ciencia y la investigación, alineados con las acciones 28 a 33 del Pacto para el Futuro, y a inspirar acciones colaborativas y coaliciones que aceleren el progreso, asegurando que ningún país, ninguna comunidad, ni ningún individuo sea dejado atrás.

4th United Nations Open Science and Open Scholarship Conference - Speakers and Keynotes announced!
Dear Colleagues,
You are cordially invited to attend the 4th United Nations Open Science & Open Scholarship Conference from 16 to 18 October 2025, which will be held both on-line and in-person at the United Nations University (UNU) in Tokyo, Japan. It is organized by the Dag Hammarskjöld Library of the United Nations Department of Global Communications in collaboration with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Division of Sustainable Development Goals, and UNESCO’s Division of Science Policy and Capacity-Building.
Since 2018, the Conference has advanced open science as an accelerator for the Sustainable Development Goals as well as the human right to participate in and benefit from science. The concept note frames this year’s Conference programme into three streams: (1) AI, open science, and the global digital divide, (2) Science communication and public engagement, and (3) Removing barriers to knowledge: open infrastructure and the future of scientific access. Per the UN Secretary-General’s priority, this year's Conference will elevate the connections of Open Science with the Pact for the Future adopted by all 193 Member States of the United Nations.
Join us to support the urgent call to accelerate transformations in science and scholarship in alignment with actions 28-33 of the Pact for the Future, and to inspire collaborative actions and coalitions to expedite progress ensuring no country, community, or individual is left behind.
