But the 13th also has a rich history of innovation, textile, and artistic endeavors. It escaped Baron Haussman's transformation of a Paris with grand boulevard's so its streets still retain a village-like atmosphere. It has an interesting architectural variety as well influenced by a lot of artists over the years. It is definitely one of the more unique arrondissements and I am so glad we have Lena to show us around!
