Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Haripriya Mehta, a recent MIT alum and co-founder of MehtA+. I wanted to let you know of an opportunity for a summer bootcamp for your high school students (current 8th - 12th graders).

MehtA+ Digital Humanities Machine Learning Bootcamp will be taught by MIT, Stanford and Columbia alumni and take place virtually from June 21 - July 30, 2021.

This six-week interdisciplinary summer bootcamp will provide students with expert instruction in cutting edge university-level AI/Machine Learning, which students will then apply to Digital Humanities projects run by professors from top US and International universities, including University of Bologna (Italy), University of Buffalo SUNY, Northeastern University, Haverford College and Kenyon College among others. Students will potentially receive an opportunity to have their work published in professional academic journals.

Examples of projects that students will be working on include using machine learning to determine authorship of handwritten 19th century Italian texts and exploring tweets for dialectic change in Spanish language.

Please learn more about our camp here: https://mehtaplustutoring.com/dhml-bootcamp/ Past projects can be viewed here: https://mehtaplustutoring.com/mlpast/

We are currently accepting applications from passionate and interested students: https://tinyurl.com/2021dhml. No prior experience in computer science is necessary. We encourage students to apply early as we will be accepting students on a rolling basis. Scholarships are offered to students who demonstrate financial need.

Could you please pass this information on to interested high school students? Here is a link to the Digital Humanities Machine Learning Bootcamp Flyer.

Thank you so much, and please let me know if you have any questions! I would be happy to hop on a call with you.

Sincerely,
Haripriya Mehta
Co-founder and Instructor of MehtA+ Tutoring
