See below for a couple of opportunities.
1.
Dear Boise Math Student Circle,
My name is Nikki, and I am a student volunteer under STEAM for All, a nonprofit organization that aims to promote interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to our community. Due to COVID-19, STEAM for All has moved its operations online, hoping to help remedy excess stress on families by continuing to hold interactive events and activities online for students in various parts of the country.
STEAM for All is holding a Virtual All Girls Math Tournament on Saturday, April 17th, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM PDT. This event will provide a unique opportunity for girls in grades 3-8 to showcase their problem-solving ability and critical thinking in a challenging yet rewarding contest of mathematical skill. There will be sprint and target rounds to assess participants’ understanding of a variety of math concepts, a team round designed to foster collaboration and communication, and fun, interactive activities like Connect 4 and 24 at the end.
Please find the registration link here. Spots are limited, so sign up now! We also encourage you to share that link with anyone who may be interested in this tournament! The event will be held over Zoom, and all the details will be sent to registrants in the near future.
Feel free to email any inquiries to in...@steamforall.org. Thank you for your time and consideration! We hope to “see” you at the event!
Sincerely,
Nikki

Hello!
My name is Emma and I’m the Academic Director of the Wolfram Middle School Summer Camp, a program that introduces computational thinking to middle school girls aged 11-14.
At the Wolfram Middle School Summer Camp, students participate in interactive workshops and mini-projects throughout our week-long, completely virtual program. They will learn how to think computationally, how to use computation to add an extra dimension to their own interests (from STEM to the humanities), and how to code in the Wolfram Language.
The Middle School Camp also prepares students for our educational programs for high school students at Wolfram, including the Wolfram High School Summer Camp.
No prior coding experience is required! We are looking for bright, engaged middle-school students who identify as girls. We look for students with a strong interest in any STEM subject. Students don’t need to have done any coding before, they simply need a passion for learning.
We would love if you could help to share this opportunity with students in your organization and your communities. Financial aid is available and applications are now open for Summer 2021 and can be found on our website:
For high school students, and for boys and girls approaching high school age, we also offer the Wolfram High School Summer camp, a two and a half week long project-oriented camp for high-school students, introducing them to cutting-edge programming, computational thinking and innovative technology. The camp is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurial and technical high-school students to explore science and technology. Students can find out more and apply to the High School Summer Camp at

Thank you so much! Please reach out to me at any time if you have any questions.
Best,
Emma Yang
