There's a lot going on this week, as usual, so here's a quick update.
The MTB Film festival is tomorrow (Thursday 21st doors at 6pm movies
start at 7pm) at the Knitting Factory. The feature film "Life Cycles"
was shot with the same cameras used in the Planet Earth series, and is
the best action sports film I've ever seen. Even if you aren't in to
MTB movies, this will still blow you away. View the trailer and
purchase tickets online

(Custom frame builder "Throne" will have Jimmy's new Ti 29er on
display at the film festival, is raffling off a steel single speed
frame, and is offering $500 off on custom titanium builds)
Also on Thursday July 21st, is Shop for Good at the Boise Coop, and 4%
of all sales from the coop and wine shop go to BBP. Marc will be down
there doing free mini tunes for all shoppers. So go stock up on wine
and hummus!
Last but not least. The Best of Boise Weekly voting starts today.
Last year we won "best local nonprofit" and were third for "best local
bike shop," which really upset one of the major high end shops in the
valley. "You guys shouldn't have won 3rd best bike shop, because you
are not a bike shop," we won't mention who said that.
Well, we think we are a bike shop, just a different kind of shop.
We're the kind of shop that has put over 3000 recycled bikes back on
the street, donated 1153 to low income kids, and taught countless
people how to fix there own bikes and how to ride them safely. So,
this year we're shooting for 1st in both titles. Please vote and
spread the word to vote at this link
