Where is my Wide-team!?

Sorry to disturb, but I hope to get some help here :)

I founded a wide-team called Odder Gumnasium some days ago; but I
can't seam to find it at any of the project pages (ex. Rosetta@Home
and many more). I can find it at the Boinc wide-team page, but when I
search at the projects homepages - nothing comes up. I'v added the
team as a Junior college placed in Denmark.

Please help me to understand, why I can't find it :)

Hi Mickey,

The new BOINC wide team you founded will only be created on NEW projects and
then only when the project administrator used that function to create teams.
Not all projects have done that even. For existing projects you will need to
create new teams individually on each project.

There was a problem with the script that announces new teams;
I fixed it, and the new team should exist
on all projects within 1 day.

BTW: BOINC-wide teams are created on all projects, not just new ones.

Hello, this seems to be an older thread, but I have a similar "problem". I created a BWT called TARDIS a couple of days ago, and it hasn't yet showed up on all of my project, like SETI and POEM. Since I saw here that teams should appear within a day, is something wrong or should I just wait a bit more?

I'm not seeing a team of that name.
Also, make sure that you validate your email address on the team site.

I apologise, the name has been changed recently to Rebel scum, and I have changed the team name on the projects that my friends and I are running, and it works just fine on those. I have validated my address, and the only projects that I'm running that haven't detected the team yet are SETI and POEM. From what I've found, SETI already has a team called Rebel Scum, but it hasn't been active for quite some time, so that might be the part of a problem, but POEM doesn't even have that. I'd appreciate any help.

Team names on a given project are unique,
so if there's already a team of the name it won't create a new one.

You can request ownership of the existing team.
If the current owner doesn't respond in 60 days, you own the team.
