email address not validating

I can not validate my email address using the "Validate your email
address" feature
@ "BOINC-wide teams" http://boinc.berkeley.edu/teams/.
When I attempt to use the "forgot email address?" feature
@ http://boinc.berkeley.edu/teams/get_passwd.php
an error returns "There is no user with email address".
But I can access the Team (I am the Founder) when I log into my SETI
Home profile.
The Team "ABM Systems" is visible at SETI and results are shown in
BoincStats.
I would like to create the team as BOINC-wide team but am reluctant to
do so as
long as I can not validate the existing team.

I did search this Group and unfortunatly found nothing.
Hoping that somebody is more familiar with Teams and has some great
idears.

David - sorry to be a nuisance.
It is a few years since I last used BOINC - please bear with me.

I have created an account on the BOINC Teams site.
@ http://boinc.berkeley.edu/teams/
with the same credentials (Name, eMail, password), as I use for
my SETI account, as the Team "ABM Systems" is sitting in that
profile.

When I search for the Team, from the newly created
account on the BOINC Teams site it will not show.

What now?
