Hi folks !

Not sure if I'm just out of the loop on this project, but in regards
to the Anansi
Project ( http://canis.csc.ncsu.edu:8005/anansi/ ), I find it somewhat
disturbing
that a person/group can create a project, create many of the teams
that participate
in most BOINC Projects (Like BOINCSynergy), are then the founders over
these
teams like they are over Boincsynergy right now, and yet so far have
not responded
to any Pm's or anything to the person (dfd) that created our team at
all ?

What annoys myself about it so much, is I really do not know alot
about what they
are doing other than being a Web Spider as they have no message boards
on the
project (Have to goto the Operating Systems Research Group at NC State
University
http://fortknox.csc.ncsu.edu/wiki/osr just to find out about it more)
and so have control
as to whether or not our team even wants to participate in it or not,
much less this
person "dfd having access to our members email addresses as members
join.

I guess what Im saying is, what steps (If any) do we have as Team
Founders, to stop
someone from just creating our team and then open the project without
anyone from
that teams concent ?

BOINC-wide teams are automatically created on any project
that asks for them. That's just how they work.

Team member accounts are not automatically created.

Is there anyway (In the future) that the Project Itself that someone
sets up can disable the person(s) from just creating actual team
accounts and founder them like this one has ? I have sent pm's and
emails to the one over it but still have recieved no replies. Only
other thing I can and am doing is having to wait for the request
foundership to kick in assuming its not blocked, but that means
waiting till sometime in November.

Anyways, Just was courious as it does seem abit strange to create
teams that you donot belong too. As I have been asked before to change
team founders at certain projects just because of the actual team
member that was founder over it (Email address issue) lol.
