The annual BOINC Workshop showcases research enabled by BOINC, and provides a community forum for developing a future roadmap for both the technology and community.

This year's event, for obvious reasons, will be online.  We hope this means even more of you will be able to join us.

WHEN: Three days, April 14, 21, and 28; for 3 hours each day
WHERE: Zoom (*link available upon registration)
HOW: For more information, and to register, please visit www.boincworkshop.org

[A] We invite all projects, tools, and communities to give talks in either or both of the categories below:

{1} SCIENCE + COMMUNITY -- General-interest talks about your work
  • Target length: 10mins
  • Target audience: general public – ie, potential volunteers (think "TED talk")
  • Date: April 14
{2} BOINC -- Technical presentations about how you're using, supporting, or integrating with BOINC: accomplishments, challenges, needs
       Target length: 10mins
Target audience: BOINC developers, other BOINC projects
       Date: April 21

[B] We hope everyone can also join us for community discussion on the third day of the event, April 28.  This will involve "birds of a feather" discussions on topics elected at the start of the event, as well as Tutorials for people considering using BOINC for the first time.
