Congratulations to Travis, Brandon, Pat, and TJ on being selected for
the New York City Marathon this November.
Good luck Pat this weekend in Nashville!
So what should the rest of us non-elite Boiled Peanuts do?
How about the Las Vegas Marathon or 1/2 marathon the first week of
December?
May even change the team name to the "Elvis’s Boiled Peanuts”.
Do you think the polyester and rhinestone jump suit would chaff over
26.2 miles.
The marathon starts and finishes at the Mandalay Bay Resort.
Any takers?

Forgive me if I don't sound estatic about the options....had my gallbladder removed Monday morning and am recovering. Doing well but sore and swollen. Can't run a step for 3 weeks.....will be stark crazy by then but am going to listen to my doc on this one. A vegas half sounds good to me!! Congrats gang!!

Paul,
Man I am sorry to hear about the gallbladder surgery.
Hope you recover quickly!
I like having the option of the half or full marathon.

I have a hernia and possibly a torn groin. It happened around the time when we ran the marathon. I am getting a second opinion from another surgeon. So I am SOL for the next several months.
Sucks getting old!

I may be interested in Vegas. Please keep me informed if anyone wants to do this.

Thanks.
Have a great weekend.
