Vinny Update

Bad news on Vinny. The cancer is back, this time it is in his lungs instead of brain. His Dad called me yesterday and said they are giving a 20% survival rate.

I am having lunch with the Digerolamo family tomorrow to give them our fund raiser money. Our grand total was $1,180 (great job!!!!). I will also give Vinny a Boiled Peanuts shirt and a Marine Marathon coin tomorrow.

Vinny's Dad told me yesterday that knowing that strangers ran a marathon in honor of their son meant so much to him and their family that words could not describe it. He said the Boiled Peanuts have brought joy to them in the darkest of times.
