Hey all, it's your friendly not-so-neighborhood cellist. I'm moving
all of my stuff into storage sometime during the weekend of Febraury
27-28, and I really, really could use the assistance of just one or
two people. Quite honestly, I don't have any friends who live in the
neighborhood, and I don't actually know my roommates at all (the one I
do know will be long moved out by then). It's sort of an odd
situation, but meh, that's life, this has been an odd year.
Regardless, I can promise it won't take very long. I live in a 6x9
room, my only furniture is my loft bed and a smallish fridge, the bed
will be completely dissassembled. In all honesty there's only a few
objects I can't move on my own, but can't still means can't. Last time
I moved out the process took under an hour, and that was just with one
person helping. I'm on a 3rd floor walk-up, for the record.
After that, I just need to move it to a storage facility literally
only a few blocks away (I will have a truck rented or gotten free from
the facility, whichever), and that part should be easy, since storage
places have carts and elevators. I expect the entire process to take
under 2 hours with even the help of one person, much less with more. I
can promise dinner after worship on the 28th for all involved.
As for when, I'm hoping to do this basically any time on the 27th, or
possibly starting at 12 on the 28th (obviously have to be done by 2 to
get to the church by 3).
Anyways, I know it's a bit of a hike up here to Harlem, (I live at 134
and Broadway) but to be honest I don't know who else to ask. So if any
of you have a couple hours to spare that weekend, any assistance would
be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
~Brian
