Summer Sublet Carroll Gardens

Hi everyone,

I'm a friend of a few members of TGC and roommates with Christy Merry,
who attends TGC as well and I'm looking for someone to sublet my
lovely room this summer.

I have a lovely place in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn that I need to
sublet from May 15 until August 15 (dates are slightly flexible). The
rent would be $2400 for the entire summer including utilities (WITH
wireless internet) aka $800/mo. My apartment would be ideal for
anybody interning in NYC this summer, and is about $1000 less than
Educational Housing--where you don't even have a proper kitchen.

The apartment is on the top floor of a brownstone on Degraw Street
between Hoyt and Bond--1 block away from Smith Street and 3 blocks
away from the F/G train. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly--
it's mainly young couples and people who have lived here for 20 years,
there's even a group of old ladies who sit out in lawn chairs every
night by the stoop and chat, it's awesome.

I'm looking for a gal to stay in my nook during the summer (you can
see pictures on my facebook album). The room has a twin bed, a
dresser, full closet and also some bathroom space that would be
available for whoever sublets the apartment. I also have 1 roommate
who shares the apartment with me--she works full-time in Manhattan and
has lived in the city for over 4 years.
