Areverse outline is just what it sounds like: outlining in reverse. In the early stages of the writing process (before you have a draft), it is a good idea to outline your ideas and produce a draft from that outline. Reverse outlining is producing an outline from the draft you have already written.

As shoulder arthroplasty becomes increasingly common, the burden of revision shoulder arthroplasty is also increasing. Revision reverse shoulder arthroplasty requires an understanding of the causes of failure and the evaluation of these causes and their sequelae, including infection, instability, component loosening, humeral bone loss, and glenoid bone loss. Revision reverse shoulder arthroplasty is technically complex. On the humeral side, corticotomy may be required for component removal, and bone grafting may be necessary to achieve rotational stability and to restore humeral length and avoid undertensioning and instability. On the glenoid side, bone loss is common, structural bone grafting is not infrequently required, and proper component positioning is required to avoid impingement and component loosening. Although the outcomes are generally inferior to primary reverse total shoulder arthroplasty and complications and revision surgeries are common, revision procedures still lead to notable improvements in pain, motion, and function.

Some assignments ask you to read and analyze complex information. In these cases, reverse outlining can help you distill the main ideas into short, clear statements. You may also use reverse outlining to revise your own work. Reverse outlining follows a two-step, repeatable process:

When revising your own work, these notes should tell you if each paragraph fits in the overall organization of your paper. You may also notice that paragraphs should be shifted after completing this step.

Be brief, particularly when rereading your own work. If you can't complete each step in 5-10 words, the paragraph may need to be altered. You should be able to summarize the topic and the manner of support quickly; if you can't, revise the paragraph until you can.

As noted in the September 20, 2013 Statement Regarding Overnight Fixed-Rate Reverse Repurchase Agreement Operational Exercise, the Open Market Trading Desk (the Desk) at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York has been conducting daily, overnight fixed-rate reverse repo operations as part of an operational readiness exercise.

Beginning with the operation to be conducted on Monday, October 21, the Desk will increase the fixed rate offered in these operations from one basis point to two basis points. All other terms of the exercise will remain the same.

As an operational readiness exercise, this work is a matter of prudent advance planning by the Federal Reserve. These operations do not represent a change in the stance of monetary policy, and no inference should be drawn about the timing of any change in the stance of monetary policy in the future.

As shown in more detail on the next page, reverse outline of your own writing can help you (1) determine if your paper meets its goal, (2) discover places to expand on your evidence or analysis, and (3) see where readers might be tripped up by your organization or structure.

Many writers find that new ideas or topics appear near the end of a reverse outline. These topic shifts may signal that you need to revise certain paragraphs in you draft to be sure they relate back to your main idea, or they may inspire you to revise your main idea so that it takes on some of the new points these paragraphs suggest.

If one item on your reverse outline discusses more topics than other paragraphs, that may be a paragraph your reader will struggle to follow. By dividing its topics into two or more paragraphs, each one discussing a more focused topic or set of topics, you may be able to ensure that your reader follows your meaning.

Experienced writers, especially when writing longer papers about a complex subject, need ways to test their drafts for the logical sequence of points: its structure. A reverse outline allows writers to read a condensed version of what they wrote, and provides one good way to examine and produce a successful paper.

For example: say you are writing a paper for an engineering class in which you are exploring the concept of how humans learn to trust technology through individual consumer choices, and your research involves analyzing several television commercials for Apple computers and products.

The OECD has a standard test guideline (TG471) for evaluating the mutagenicity of agents using bacterial assays that has not been reviewed for 21 years--since 1997. Under the auspices of the International Workshop on Genetic Toxicology (IWGT), which met in Tokyo, Japan, in November 2017, a working group performed analyses of large data bases of bacterial mutagenicity data, and concluded that at least 4 of the 6 strains currently recommended are redundant and could be eliminated. If such a proposal is adopted by the OECD when it next revised TG471, this would reduce the regulatory burden on industry, which is currently required to adhere to this test guideline by the US EPA, US FDA, and many other regulatory organizations in order to gain approval for marketing their product.

It also has a more flexible change management system where you can make corrections to approved change orders on the fly, without having to undo and redo the work.

Is there a process for reversing the PCCO? I am dealing with this ERP issue right now - PCCO wont link to Sage because existing contract line. Cannot delete contract line because it is approved. Procore is saying to reverse the PCCO then create a new one but i cannot figure out how to reverse the PCCO - any help or process written on this?

During the revision process, it is often necessary to check for understanding within your paper to ensure that your ideas are strongly developed and well-organized. However, it can sometimes be hard to read through your draft and reorganize blocks of text and efficiently manage your revisions. When revising, it is helpful to locate your ideas within paragraphs and distill the main topics that link your claims, reasons and analysis together.

Even though constructing a reverse outline may seem daunting at first, there are several key ways to approach this strategy to help ease the process so your paper can be managed efficiently and effectively.

I've started to use Subversion with TortoiseSVN. If I open up the log and right click on an old revision I see two options that sound like they roll back to an older version: "Update item to revision" and "Revert to this revision".

I understand that updating to an older revision is used when you only want to look back at an old version but not really change the repository. Revert is when you actually screwed up and want the latest revision in the repository to be the same as an older version.

So say the HEAD revision is 100 and I revert back to 95. It will reverse merge my working copy back to 95. Then I can commit that change to the repository which would create revision 101 correct? How is that different if I were to update back to revision 95? Doesn't it still just reverse the changes from the last revisions? I'm confused as to how the state of my working copy differs after a Reverting or Updating to an older revision.

Update to revision will only update files of your workingcopy to your choosen revision. But you cannot continue to work on this revision, as SVN will complain that your workingcopy is out of date.
