Here's the note I sent to Cornell students; we'd love to have
collaboration across institutions, where feasible.
______
Today in class we talked briefly about your final projects, which can
take various forms, from traditional, single authored academic paper
to collaborative projects, to more creative pieces.
Before next Monday, please add to the new final project tab on the
wiki the following:
-title of project
-one paragraph (150 words) description
-working bibiography of 3-5 texts that are helping you frame your work.
We suggest that you review the El Paso project pages for potential
collaborative ideas, and get in contact with people in both El Paso
and India to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
In case people in any of the three sites are interested, Anindita and
Debra are planning to collaborate on a project--potentially another
edited volume--on the figure of the child: eg, trafficked child,
child soldier, children and terrorism, anchor babies, unaccompanied
minor immigrant, etc. Contact us if you would like more information
or think you might want to participate.
