Our sense of who we are is limited to our daily experiences; our actions; our routines; our communities and our sense of history. We see life through one small prism at a time, comfortably numb and blind to the greater picture. But what happens when life takes us on an unexpected journey that brings looming questions into focus? There are moments when we get to step out of the ordinary and bear witness to the extraordinary. We glimpse the whole picture, and our small but important place within it.
Planetary Pilgrim follows a group of perfect strangers from different countries and walks of life as they come together to visit 17 sacred sites in 5 countries on 4 continents, opening up to themselves and to each other, and circling around the world in just 30 days to shed light on the critical importance our planet Earth plays in our human awakening, healing and progress.
Followed by an interview with the film’s director Dawa Tarchin Phillips.
