Dr Hari ji,

Each site says different family name.

Apart from the link you mentioned, Wikipedia also mentioned as Apocynaceae. Thanks for update.

Still some are mentioning as Asclepiadaceae (in an article published in March 2012 Springerlink journal)

Dear Radhakrishna ji...
Thanks for the reply. Kindly note that not all the researchers penning down articles give us the updated versions. To keep updated with Taxonomy, its better to stick on to Authentic Websites like that the one i provided you yesterday, www.theplantlist.org which is an output of the collaboration between the Royal Botanics Garden, KEW and Missouri Botanical Garden. The website contains 1,244,871 million scientific plant names of which 2,98,900 are accepted species names. A very useful and user friendly authentic website for any clarifications.

or it would be better to stick on to USDA's (United states Department of Agriculture) GRIN Taxonomy. This is the most usually referred website almost by most of the Taxonomists (In India) for updated information. Kindly follow the link below where you can search and check the names of different plants in this website.
http://pgrdoc.bioversity.cgiar.org/taxcheck/grin/index.html

If the information given above is contradicted by some one, you can correct me.

Regards
