I think it is Quisqualis indica Linn. belongs to family combretaceae,
commonly called as Rangoon creeper in english.

• *Leaf *-- Gastric pain; Dysentery; 
*Seed* -- As an antiseptic; Anthelmintic; Febrifuge for high fevers; Dysentery.
• Seeds. Used as anthelmintic. --

Thanks for the post...I thank Ashok ji, Srikanth ji & Jyothi ji for helping in identification & Neethu ji for further more information on the medicinal uses of Quisqualis indica, Combretaceae, an unfamiliar drug in Ayurveda and a very commonly known ornamental plant.
