Common name- GIANT POTATO / MILKY YAM
Useful part - tuberous root
Leaves - glaberous,large,palmately 5-7 lobed, ovate -lanceolate, acute, -acuminate, with prominant nerves beneath
Flower - purple, few to many in the axillary corymbose cymes
Fruits - capsule
Seed - black,woody,4 in each fruit.
Root - large,tuberous,ovoid.
Uses - aphrodiasic, stimulant,used in male infertility,inflomations,clears voice,increases lactation, respiratory diseases,burning sensation,diuretic,tonic,and promotes complexion.
