Subject: ACTION ALERT: Rally to Support Locked Out ADT Techs Wed. May 27th

ACTION ALERT!

Rally to Support Locked Out ADT Techs

at ADT Headquarters in Boca Raton

Wednesday May 27th 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM

It’s been more than 100 days and counting that ADT Security Services has locked out their Techs in Winston Salem, N.C.  In an effort to bring awareness to the public, as well as to the ADT employees, IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) is asking for help from its Union & Community Allies with their Informational Picket Rally in front of ADT Security Services Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL.

Let us show all workers and ADT that if one worker is affected adversely that it affects all of us.  No matter where we live.

ADT Headquarters is at 1501 Yamato Rd in Boca but we will park and meet up at the Hampton Inn located at 1455 Yamato Rd, Boca Raton 33431 at 7:30am, right behind the Mobil Gas station. Plan on meeting the group at the West end of the hotel. The hotel is allowing us to park our cars there. It is suggested that you bring your umbrella’s and rain gear just in case it starts to rain.

A flyer with more information is attached.

If you wish to donate to the Locked Out “IBEW ADT Employee Relief Fund” please click on this link: http://www.youcaring.com/other/ibew-adt-employee-relief-fund/316343

They need your Help to continue the fight!

Even $5 or $10 would go a long way.

What would happen to you if you were locked out of work for 100+ days with no access to Unemployment Insurance?

Solidarity Works!

Contact Doug Williams (904-710-5832) or Kathy Smith (727-542-0212) if you have any questions. If you have any scheduling conflicts, please come to any of the rallies that you can.
