Hi,

I have a question about a result I don't get.
The facets I have are MultiValueFacetHandlers like so

Results: 35
Region
[ ] New York (20)
[ ] New Hampshire (3)
[ ] Washington (9)
[ ] Ohio (13)

Industry
[x] Automotive (35)
[ ] Management (25)

*******************************

[ ] Management (25)

[ ] Management (25)

[x] Ohio (13)

Industry
[x] Automotive (35)
[ ] Management (25)

The minHitCount is 0 for region and 1 for industry. All selections are
"all other things being equal". I just don't get it.
Running the BrowseRequest query directly in Luke with the facet
selections as part of the query also shows the correct number of
results.

Any suggestions?
Marc

No, everything is behaving like this is normal.

BTW I made a mistake in the example. It should be

Results: 25
Region
[ ] New York (20)
[x] New Hampshire (3)
[x] Washington (9)
[x] Ohio (13)
Industry
[x] Automotive (45)
[ ] Management (25)

So, the total of Automotive items is accurately reflected by the
Region facet. The weirdness is that I seem to need a kind of minimum
to get any results at all.

Do you have a sample code and data to reproduce this? I cannot reproduce the problem on my box.

Thanks,
- Lei

Is there any kind of test skeleton that I can easily use to create a
few test facets against a provided index?
It's extremely time consuming to create one from scratch
