Timeout Long Searches

I have run into an issue where some of our user searches are taking an inordinate amount of time to complete. I see that Lucene provides a TimeLimitingCollector however it isn't clear to me how I could use it to decorate BoboBrowse Collectors.

Do you have any guidance on how to apply timeouts to mitigate long running searches using BoboBrowse?
