Phyllis B. Bradley (1923 - 1997)

Phyllis B. Bradley, age 73, of Coralville, died

Wednesday, November 12, 1997 at Mercy Hospital in

Iowa City, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Bradley was born December 17, 1923, in Keswick, Iowa,

the daughter of Lorin Roscoe and Vera (Irons) Rickey. She

married William J. Ford on August 21, 1951, in Iowa City

William died in 1973. She later married Robert J. Bradley

on December 21, 1974. Robert died in 1980.

                 For over twenty-three years she worked in

Medical Records department at Mercy Hospital, retiring in 1986.

Prior to her woirking at Mercy she worked at the

Veterans  Administration Hospital for over ten years.

She was a member of St Patrick's Catholic Church, the Alter

and Rosary Society, and the Coralville American Legion Auxilary.

                  Her family includes three step-sons and their wives.

Robert C. and Barb Bradley.  Tim and Diane Bradley, and Dave and

Carol Bradley; six step-grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Steve, Stacey, Erin,

and Autumn; two nieces, Beverly Graef Graves, and Betty Graef Eberhardt

and her husband, Alan; one nephew, Robert Graef.

                    Her parents, husbands, and her sister, Jean Rickey Graef,

preceded Phyllis in death   Final resting place is in the new section of

St  Joseph Cemetery, Iowa City
