Please see the below message from Nancy Westbrook.
She has been vitally important in the success of the Y Masters program and keeping it at the YFC.
Please help her out!
Thanks,
Mark

HI there, to all my Swimming friends,

I'm writing to ask you to donate to the YMCA Annual campaign to support scholarships for the many programs offered at the Y for those who qualify - as a member of the Board of Directors at our Y, I am representing the Adult Aquatics programs in this fund raiser. As a group, we have already shown our Y leadership that we are a cohesive group of active and committed folks, who believe in life long fitness. So I hope you read on, and consider making a donation to the 2016 Annual Campaign, using my link pasted below. (or email me, and I will be happy to arrange another payment method for you!!)

As a fellow swimmer, I know you enjoy the benefits of chlorine in your hair, many laps staring at the black line, and having someone push you to do just a little bit more than you thought you could. The YMCA is a place that we all have in common, and I'd like to share some facts to let you know that the YMCA is really so much more.

The YMCA is a unique organization - you already know we are a place for  gym, swim and fitness -
But did you know we are a 4 star charitable organization - and 100% of your tax deductible donation will be spent serving people in our YMCA? Last year, the Bob Sierra YMCA was able to:
  • Provide swim lessons and drowning prevention to 378 children who could not otherwise afford it
  • Enroll 49 cancer survivors in the Y's Live Strong program that provides support and strengthening as they heal
  • Provided over $13,000 in subsidies to allow children to participate in organized sports programs at the Y
  • Partner with Big Brother/Big Sisters to allow 50 mentors to bring their "little" to the YMCA
  • Served 4,400 kids in summer camps, including a specialized program for children with autism and other developmental disabilities -

And that is just a short list - there are so many other things happening - I'm happy to spend time with any of you to share more stories.
So I want to rally all of you, now.... I am the lead of the fundraiser group for Adult Swim and Masters - and we are challenged to bring in $1500 - I know we can do it!! Let's show our Y leadership that we can, and we care about the kids and families that our Y serves.

Thank you for reading all the way through this email - I hope you will consider making a donation - please use the link below or email me to arrange another payment method -

See you at the pool!
Nancy Westbrook

Please read the email below from Nancy!
Thank you for those that supported her and the YMCA - without your efforts, we wouldn't be swimming at the YFC and wouldn't be having some of the great moments and times that we do.

Yes we have a lot of fun!
Support Nancy!
Thanks,
Mark
