Hello Masters Swimmers!
Thank you all again for your valuable feedback concerning our Masters Program. Mark and I met and were able to come up with some changes that we think will be positive for the entire program. These changes will take place in three basic waves so I wanted to outline them for you.
Nov 1-15
-No changes will be made to normal Tues-Thurs morning practice schedule.
-We will be required to have a security person in order to open the YFC as well as our two lifeguards. **Please remember you cannot enter the building before the security person arrives and is in place. You cannot enter the pools until the lifeguards are in position.
- We will be scanning cards as you enter the building.
- We will add the evening practices at the YFC. These will be non-coached but Mark has agreed to provide laminated practice sheets available in the Aquatics office for anyone who wishes to follow the workout.
- No change will be made to the Saturday practice at the YFC (see above concerning non-coached workouts)
- All Masters Swimmers are asked to register at the front desk so we can track usage of the program.
Nov 15-Dec 31
- Practice will continue at the YFC on Tues and Thurs mornings. Lanes will be reduced to 6 lanes for Masters. General Lap swim will be moved from the Bob Sierra pool to the YFC pool from 5:00-7:30am. Bob Sierra pool will open at 8:00am. We will be polling our lap swimmers to see if in future schedules they would like all five weekdays at the YFC pool instead of just Tues and Thurs.
- No change to Saturday practice.
- Bob Sierra pool hours will begin closing midday for 2 hours. Times are still being discussed.
Jan 1st 2016
- A program fee will be assessed to the Masters Program. The exact monthly amount of that fee is still being determined.
- Added practice times and other ways to grow the program will be discussed and acted on at this time.
If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me directly. Thank you again for your continued support!
