How can distinguish verification and identification?

my english is not so good, please bear with me.

I have a question while writing bob.bio.spear.

i think the results of the experiments in the manual indicate identification.

(in code algorithm.score(model, probe))

However, the manual distinguishes identification and verification.

how can i  get verification instead of identification? do i just have to make an evaluation score and make a judgment? ( EER, IR .. )

Identification and Verification are just two different ways of how to interpret the score. You can use different metrics or plots, which you can find here: https://www.idiap.ch/software/bob/docs/bob/docs/stable/bob/bob.bio.base/doc/experiments.html#evaluating-experiments

Depending on which kind of metric or plot you use, you either evaluate Identification or Verification.
