Sunday 7th July - Simon Allen Quartet

Simon has established himself as a leading light on the London jazz scene. An alto and tenor saxophonist, he has already built up a CV that includes playing with Stan Tracey, Don Weller and the big bands of Jamie Cullum and Laurence Cottle. He was a member of Clark Tracey's band for over 7 years and has also appeared in horn sections with a huge array of pop artists. He is one of the most exciting improvisers around today and appears tonight with Tom Cawley (piano), Laurence Cottle (bass) and Jack Thomas (drums).

Sunday 14th July - Theo Travis

Theo is a powerful contemporary saxophonist and flautist, who has released 10 albums under his own name. He is also increasingly well known in the world of progressive music having toured and recorded prolifically, with artists such as Soft Machine, Robert Fripp, Steven Wilson, and the psychedelic rock band Gong. In 2015 he also joined David Gilmour's band for the Rattle That Lock tour. In total, Theo has appeared as a featured soloist on over 120 albums and is the author of "Twice Around the World", a diary of blogs from the Steven Wilson world tours of 2012/13. He is joined tonight by Simon Carter on piano, Andy Hamill on bass and drummer Tristan Mailliot.

Sunday 21st July - Mulford, Pollitt, Carter + SPECIAL GUEST

Tonight's gig features established rhythm section of Phil Mulford on bass, Jack Pollitt on drums and keyboard player Simon Carter. They will be joined by a special guest who is still to be confirmed, but you can be assured this will be a funky night of soul classics and foot tapping grooves.

Sunday 28th July - BATL Quartet

Brandon Allen and Tim Lapthorn have been performing together for over 17 years. The saxophonist and pianist have played in various quartet formation formations at Ronnie Scott's which has led to this dynamic project featuring brand new material written by the two players, channelling their respective influences. Both musicians are known for their passionate and exciting style of playing, sharing a chemistry and intuition that pushes the music in new directions, whilst always retaining a great sense of melody and swing. The quartet is completed by double-bass player Tim Thornton and Jack Yardley on drums.
