Sunday 18th August - Allison Neale Quartet

She is a strong advocate of the melodic West Coast style and is joined tonight by a regular collaborator, guitarist Colin Oxley, who together, have often recreated the magical pairing of Paul Desmond and Jim Hall. Drawing from these influences, they explore their own unique musical partnership, while staying true to the nature of the original recordings. Allison and Colin are joined by Adam King on double bass and drummer Matt Home.

Sunday 25th August - Simon Spillett Quartet
This is hard swing and bebop at its very best. Simon has won several awards for his music, including the 'Rising Star' category of the BBC Jazz Awards in 2007 and the tenor saxophone category of the British Jazz Awards in 2011. Simon is considered to be the UK's foremost expert on Tubby Hayes, which is reflected in his playing, and only emphasised further by the critically acclaimed biography of Tubby that he has written. He is one of the most energetic and dynamic tenor saxophonists in Britain, whose performances have led to rave reviews at jazz clubs across the country and tonight he is joined by Robin Aspland on piano, Arnie Somogyi on double bass and drummer Spike Wells.
