Here are the details for September 2011 at Boaters.

=====
Sunday 4th September - Nigel Price

Nigel is a guitarist steeped in the Blue Note traditions of artists like Kenny Burrell, and the Hammond organ combos of Jimmy Smith and others. His trio recently won the accolade of Best Jazz Ensemble at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards and his debut album release, simply entitled "Live" has received great critical acclaim. He was a member of The James Taylor Quartet for several years, where he toured extensively throughout Europe and Asia and he has become a very popular visitor to jazz clubs in London and the rest of the country. He appears tonight with Simon Thorpe on double bass, Steve Brown on drums and Simon Carter on piano.

=====
Sunday 11th September - Duncan Eagles

Duncan is one of London's brightest new talents on the jazz scene. You may well have seen him previously at Boaters playing saxophone with Jazz Proof but he has also performed regularly at major venues such as Ronnie Scott's, The 606 Club and The Hideaway, where he also hosts a weekly jam session. Duncan has attracted considerable attention from the jazz press and he has been described as a young saxophonist with unlimited potential whose tone is angelic and sublime. He is joined tonight by fellow Jazz Proof member Louie Palmer on drums plus Simon Carter on piano and bassist Laurence Cottle.

=====
Sunday 18th September - Graham Dee

It's fantastic to welcome Graham back to Boaters after his previous appearances earlier in the year. He is considered to be one of the country's finest jazz and soul singers and has worked extensively on the session scene with the likes of Lemar and Westlife. He is also a very well respected vocal coach and has taught at the Brit School and Leeds College of Music. Don't miss this special opportunity to see Graham perform with Simon Carter (piano), Phil Mulford (bass) and Geoff Dunn (drums).

=====
Sunday 25th September - Georgia Mancio Quartet

Anglo-Italian vocalist Georgia returns to Boaters after her successful debut gig here back in January. In recent years, Georgia has established herself as one of the UK's most important new artists, and in 2010 she released her third album, Silhouette (Roomspin Records) to great critical acclaim, demonstrating her formidable skills as a lyricist and songwriter as well as her truly individual interpretations of jazz standards and Latin American song. The Observer has described her performance to have "taste, originality and understated eloquence", and The Evening Standard described her as having "the lethal cool of a Mafioso stiletto". She is joined tonight by Grant Windsor on piano, Laurence Cottle on bass guitar and drummer Dave Ohm.
